One of the first Founded in 1986, Air Business was one of the first international mailing companies in the United Kingdom, and from our earliest days we have pursued two clear commercial strategies.
Giving Customers Choice
The first was non-reliance upon the services of any single post office, with the vision of encouraging publishers and mailers to exercise their powers of choice in an increasingly competitive market. We now operate directly through a dozen post offices and over forty local mailing agents around the world, and offer our customers what we believe to be the largest range of international mail services available from any supplier.
One Stop Shop
The second policy has been to introduce the widest possible range of value added services both upstream (e.g. data processing and mail preparation) and downstream (e.g. hand delivery and returns handling) of the core postal distribution service. These parallel strategies are currently being pursued as actively as ever, and have made Air Business into one of the largest and most successful mailing companies in Britain.
Vote of Confidence acquired by major European Post Office In July 2002 Air Business was chosen to become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Irish Post Office, An Post. Apart from exploiting the enhanced Office of Exchange facilities now available through our parent company, our existing strategies remain unaffected. Backed by a forward-looking Euro 700m organisation, Air Business continues to build an independent international distribution system that offers publishers and direct mailers unrivalled value and choice.
